What is the difference between ‘Secure Client Manager’ and ‘CCH iFirm Client Portal’?

Secure Client Manager is desktop software which allows you to create and manage ‘Secure Area’ folders which you can upload files to and provide access to these areas for your clients via your website through the integration with Web Manager. You need the desktop software installed to manage and create areas and provide clients with access.

Client Portal is a cloud product which is part of the CCH iFirm suite which integrates with the CCH iFirm Contacts module meaning giving a client access is as simple as clicking ‘Invite to Portal’ from their contact page. As a cloud product, you can access this from any computer with an internet connection, you can invite clients/contact with the click of a button. When run with CCH iFirm Web Manager your clients view will be branded to match your website.

Client Portal does not support ‘Acclipse CodeIT’ for coding transactions in BankLink.
